My passion for antiques began in childhood, inspired by my mother’s love of eclectic, characterful pieces that filled our home with history and charm. That appreciation has only deepened over the years, and now, as a mother to my two beautiful girls, Molly and Tabitha, I hope to pass on the same love for unique, meaningful objects—and the idea that being individual is key.

Le Vrai was born from a lifelong love of antiques, sparked by my mother’s eclectic taste and the cultural treasures she collected from her time in Hong Kong and Paris. Growing up surrounded by a mix of Parisian baskets, antique tea leaf picking coolie hats, and elegant black lacquer cabinets, I developed an appreciation for one-off pieces that carried history and character.

I started buying and selling vintage at 13, drawn to the thrill of sourcing unique, rustic items that resonated with me. Over time, my focus refined, and I gravitated towards the ornate beauty of Baroque, Rococo, and Neoclassical styles—periods that now define Le Vrai’s carefully curated collection.

But for me, antiques are more than just a business; they’re a way of life. Le Vrai isn’t a 9-to-5 venture—it’s an extension of my passion, a constant pursuit of timeless pieces that bring joy to those who appreciate them. Le Vrai translates from French as “The True” or “The Real”, a name chosen to reflect both my deep passion for antiques and the essence of what they represent—authenticity, history, and craftsmanship that stands the test of time.
