A charming pair of Swedish side chairs dating to the late 19th century, retaining their original painted finish in muted sage green with dark teal accents and characterful wear throughout. Crafted in the neoclassical taste, each chair features an elegant scrolled crest rail, crisp carved fluted front legs, and decorative diamond motifs to the corners of the seat rail.

The frames are sturdy and have signs of wear and old worm holes to the paint work (Please note they have been treated, see photos) and are newly reupholstered in fresh white French antique linen, offering a clean contrast to the timeworn painted surfaces.
