Swedish Baroque 2 piece Secretaire Cupboard

Late 18th-century Swedish Baroque secretary cupboard, retaining its original dry-scraped painted surface with traces of earthy warm undertones. To the inside it has a dark and rich colour plum tone.

The upper section features double panelled doors, with a shaped cornice typical of this baroque era, opening to shelves for storage inside and beautiful delicate drawers. The lower section comprises of a fall-front writing surface with two miniature pull outs to stable the drop leaf table section. Below features three deep drawers, each with simple ring handles and an original lock escutcheon.
